Saved-search alerts
Track the query that found useful leads.
Create a confirmed email alert from the current Project Leads, Map, Council or Search query. PlanningBrief stores the filter pattern, not the result set.
Lead workspace
Save the search pattern, then keep watching.
Alerts should start from the same query you used in Project Leads, Map, Councils or Search.
Saved search handoff
Start from the query that brought you here.
Choose county, project type and audience below, or build a search in Project Leads first.
The alert will use the filters listed above; these local or view-only filters are not supported for email alerts yet.

Works starting in your counties.

Opens the lead page with stage, value band, applicant/agent where available, official file link and related projects.
Commencement filed with builder named
Shows the lower-risk public fields: works, town/county, commencement date, planning ref and builder firm where available.
Construction tender closes soon
Points to the tender notice, value where stated and deadline context when the query catches procurement records.
Alert triggers
What counts as a match.
| Filter | How PlanningBrief uses it |
|---|---|
| County | Matches the county on the public planning, commencement, tender or appeal record. |
| Project type | Uses the same classification shown on lead pages, such as one-off house, large residential, energy or commercial fit-out. |
| Audience | Uses the reader tags already shown across PlanningBrief: trades, suppliers, professional services or investment. |
| No new match | No email is sent. The first run records a baseline so old matches do not create a flood. |
How it works
PlanningBrief stores your email address, alert cadence and chosen query filters. It stores the saved search, not a copy of every matching record.
Alert emails use double opt-in and include an alert-specific unsubscribe link. No email is sent when a saved search has no new matching records.
