The DUB 14/15 110/20kV substation expansion area is a ‘design and build’ turnkey package, which is being delivered by Hitachi Energy and is separate from the rest of the site. The scope of works consists of the construction of a 110kV/20kV compound expansion which consists of 3 new 60MVA transformer bays and 3 new 20kv substations adjacent to the existing ESB/Eirgrid Corkagh 110kV Substation and the existing Microsoft transformer yard.
