Development consists of of the demolition of an existing shed structure on site, earth works and the construction of a new 12-classroom national school building with 2-classroom Special Education Needs (SEN) for Scoil Bríd on the site. Upon completion of the new building, Scoil Bríd will vacate their existing premises and portacabins to the east of the Killala Road. The new school consists of 2,463m2 single-storey construction, arranged around a central courtyard. Associated site works include the provision of basketball courts and access road and staff car-parking within the site, and associated paving and lighting to facilitate access to the new school site.
