Phase 1 of Proposed Construction of Residential Block 5 at Charlemont Street,Dublin 2 - Permanent Substructure Works (Piling, Foundations, Drainage, Service Ducting, Ground Floor Slab construction including waterproofing and radon membrane) as per submitted Phasing Plan to facilitate Proposed Construction of a 5-8 Storey Apartment Building With Ground floor substation and retail which will be covered under a subsequent Commencement Notice once remaining ground floor and Superstructure (above Ground Floor Level) works commence. The proposed mixed use Charlemont Street development comprises of 5 no. blocks over a double basement car park. The scope of this submission pertains to Residential Block 5 (5-8 storeys) from ground up which comprises of 4 single stair cores with standalone ground floor commercial units and substation. The cores share a communal courtyard and access has been designed to facilitate fire brigade approach from all sides of the block in keeping with the previously approved Block 3 & 4 coupled with extensive perimeter and the internal firefighting shaft facilities in cores 2, 3 & 4. Block 05 is built over the double basement and podium considered in previous seven day notice reference SN0002933DC. Note referenced planning is parent ref. number 3742/10 but has been revised by the following applications to take account of various design changes.
