The development will consist of the partial demolition (single storey 60Ssq.m) of existing house and demolition of one existing chimney and the subsequent construction of a 135sq.m single storey extension to the front, west-side and rear, a 28sq.m two-storey extension to the rear, a 5sq.m first floor extension to side (west) and rear and a 38sq.m single storey extension to the side (east) and an extension to the existing single storey covered porch to the front. Works to the existing house include replacement of all existing windows; several new window openings or modified window openings at first floor level at side (east elevation) and rear (south elevation); the removal of two first floor window openings to the side (west elevation); modifications to and the raising of roof above first floor level to the rear; one new rooflight to the existing roof and associated works at a two-storey, detached dwelling at Blairfinde, at the corner of Portland Road and South Place, Greystones, Co.
