Permission for a housing development on lands to the west and north of the existing Oldtown Demesne Housing Estate, Sallins Road, Naas, Co. Kildare with access off the enclosure ; which forms part of the existing Oldtown Demesne Estate. The development consists of A) the construction of 65 no. houses comprising of 59 no. 4 bed detached two storey houses, 2 no. 5 bed detached dormer houses with a two storey element & 4 no. 3 bed two storey terrace houses. B) the construction of 140 no. apartments in 5 no. four storey blocks each comprising of 18 no. 2 beds, 6 no. 1 bed apartments and 4 no. 2 bed penthouses. C) Entrance from existing estate road off the enclosure; D) 227 no. car parking spaces at basement level provided for the residences of the proposed apartment blocks. E) Provision of communal outdoor recreational area covering (11,067 sq.m) to incorporate tennis & basketball court and children playbround as well as multipurpose open space. F) Provision of communal open space covering 3421 sq.m.g) all on and off site development and landscaping works including but not limited to the formation of a cycle / pedestrian route and the culverting of an existing stream abutting the northern boundary of the site and provision of 68 number surface car parking spaces to serve the occupiers of the proposed apartments.
