Public-safe works description
A new National Velodrome and Badminton Centre will be built, consisting of a 250-metre indoor cycling track and a 1,050-seat arena with a multi-purpose infield used by Badminton Ireland and adaptable for other events. The building will include support facilities such as offices, changing rooms, bike storage, plant rooms and other ancillary rooms. The exterior will use metal rainscreen cladding on a base of vertical louvres and curtain-wall glazing, and the roof will be aluminium with standing seams.
