Ref: 22/1291 and ABP Ref.: 316491 (referred to below as Brewery 1) and described as follows: Brewery 2 Building: (c.9,333 m²) Single and two-storey building including brewhouse, storage and handling areas, lab, control room, workshop, plant rooms/areas (internal and external roof-mounted), storage rooms/areas, process areas, utilities and services areas, circulation, office and welfare facilities, and all associated ancillary areas. Building height to a maximum of c.18.4m comprised of ground floor area (c.8,483 m²), 1st floor (c.850 m²). External Yard adjacent to the Brewery 2 Building: 36 No. new storage vessels/silos/tanks, with associated access platforms, to a maximum height of c.23.3m. Provision of external pipe bridges to a maximum height of c.7.7m. Extension to Brewery 1 - Raw Materials Handling (RMH) Facility to serve Brewery 2: Comprising a 4-storey c.22.3m high extension to Brewery 1. The extension is c. 1,242 m² and includes a raw materials deliveries area (open area with canopy - c.248 m² in extent), 12 no storage vessels plus 3 no. grain silos with truck set down area, pipe bridge connection between the RMH and Brewery 2 (brewhouse) partially covered for pedestrian movement between Brewery 1 and 2. Relocation of approved backlit “Diageo” lettering sign (size 0.9m high 4.275m wide) on existing northern façade to proposed RMH Extension. Roaster Building: 4-storey building (c.3,010 m²), to a height of c.19.4m, above part-basement to accommodate plant and equipment associated with the roasting process and including ancillary facilities such as roast handling, barley intake, control room, workshop and associated staff rooms, internal and external plant and 12 No external silos with associated access stairs and platforms.
