The development consists of the phased demolition of existing school buildings, with the exception of the former convent and nearby stone building which are to be retained and refurbished, and the construction of a new two and three-storey school extension of approximately 10,375m² incorporating 37 general classrooms, support and specialist classrooms, a Special Educational Needs unit, a library, multimedia rooms, a single-storey multi-use sports hall, staff rooms, including photovoltaic panels. The development also includes the erection of temporary school accommodation units to allow the school to remain operational during construction, material alterations to retained buildings, a new ESB substation, and associated site works including car and bicycle parking, hard and soft landscaping, the retention of existing sports pitches and trees, drainage infrastructure, and all other ancillary site development works at Cross and Passion College, Main Street, Kilcullen, Co.
