Demolition of an existing building, comprised of 3 blocks, in 3 phases. Construction of a new Post-Primary School, Coláiste Pobail Fóla on an educational campus in Citywest. This is a part 3 storey building with attic tank room, of 11246m2 delivered in 3 phases. The building is comprised of a 1000 pupil Post-Primary School with 4no. Classbase SEN; a Multi-Use Hall; ancillary teaching, pupil and staff facilities, an external store and a rooftop PV array. The building is accessed by 6no. Stairs, 6no. of which Fire Escape and 1no. Lift. Vehicular and Fire Tender access is from an existing enlarged entrance to the northwest of the site, and a new entrance from the north of the site, both off Fortunestown Lane. Cycle and Pedestrian access is from the north of the site off Fortunestown Lane, with additional pedestrian access to the south of the site off Saggart Lakes Road. Site works included the provision of bicycle and scooter parking; vehicle drop off/set down areas; internal access roads and paths; hard and soft play areas; piped infrastructure and ducting; planting, landscaping and boundary treatments; car parking spaces; bin stores; heat pumps; ancillary ramps and stairs; signage; a below ground attenuation tank; flood mitigation measures; SUD's; changes in level and all associated site development and excavation works above and below ground.
