Development Description
Permission for minor amendments to the sustainable eco-tourism project previously approved under Planning Ref. No. PD/23/60204. The development, situated on a 59.71-hectare (147.55-acre) site, is a low-density visitor destination designed with minimal environmental impact, utilizing renewable energy, sustainable materials, and reversible construction methods. The proposed amendments are: a. minor relocation southward by c.7 metres of the permitted Environmental Induction Building with bicycle parking (8 spaces) relocated adjacent to the building, b. A small increase in the building’s floor area (from the permitted area of c.111 sq.m. to c.142 sq.m.), to include a café/restaurant (c.107 sq.m.) area, kitchen (c.28 sq.m.) and storage (c.6 sq.m.) to serve guests and staff only, enhancing the environmental education experience, with associated amendments to the building’s elevations. c. The addition of an external covered walkway (c.86 sq.m.) connecting the Environmental Induction Building as amended to the existing WC/shower facilities building.
