Development of a single storey extension, to the front (west) of the existing hospital, accommodating 6 no. ophthalmology clinic rooms, 4 no. ophthalmology treatment rooms and associated support accommodation, b. a new main entrance lobby, to the front (west) of the existing hospital, c. a new carpark, to the west of the hospital campus, providing 52 new car park spaces, d. a new car park, to the east of the hospital campus, providing 47 new car park spaces, e. alterations to set down area, f. a new pedestrian cycle path, bicycle shelter, retaining wall and landscaping, g. alterations to access road to CNU, h. new access ramp to existing hospital, i. new enclosure for tanks, j. new service yard with associated access road, k. 2 no. attenuation tanks, l. new public lighting along with all associated ancillary site services. These works were completed during the “relevant period” under S.I. No. 93/2020 - Planning and Development Act 2000, Regulations 2020 in response to the covid emergency
