The proposed development comprises phase 2 refurbishment, fire-safety, energy-efficiency and ancillary external works to the existing Kilmyshall Hall Community Building and its associated site. The proposed works comprise: 1. External oil tank enclosure: Construction of a secure external enclosure for the existing oil tank, consisting of a concrete base with harris fencing and a secure access doorway. 2. Emergency lighting: Upgrade of the existing emergency lighting system, including the provision of twin-spotlight lighting externally where required for safe access and emergency egress. 3. Fire Doors: Replacement of existing internal doors with appropriate fire-rated doors including associated frames, ironmongery and making-good works. 4. Insulation Works: Installation of cavity wall insulation to the kitchen area and additional insulation to the attic space over the main hall, to improve the thermal performance and energy efficiency of the existing building. 5. Internal Decoration: Internal preparation, repair and painting of the existing hall, including associated making-good works. 6. Boiler Replacement: Removal of the existing boiler and installation of a replacement boiler, together with associated pipework, controls, connections and ancillary works within the existing building. The proposed works relate to the existing community hall and its ancillary facilities. No extension to the existing building, change of use or alteration to the established use of the premises as a community hall is proposed
