Permission for development at this site Unit 7D, Ballyloughan Business Park, Ballyloughan, Gorey, Co. Wexford, Y25 E0P6. The development will consist of a change of use of the existing industrial unit to facilitate the establishment and operation of an ambulance base at the subject site (c. 0.103 ha) and will comprise of the following: 1. Internal and external alterations to the existing industrial unit including the development of c. 274 m² additional floorspace at first floor level and 4 no. new high-level windows to the south-east elevation; 2. The installation of an external canopy for the shelter and maintenance of ambulance vehicles. 3. Provision of external parking for 3 no. ambulances with an internal garage accommodating 1 no. ambulance; 1 no. emergency response vehicle parking space; and a dedicated ambulance wash bay; 4. Provision of 4 no. bicycle parking spaces and 7 no. car parking spaces (including EV charging space, enabling staff parking and emergency response vehicle parking spaces within the secure compound); 5. Provision of a generator, a waste-storage area, and a gas-bottle storage area; 6. Extension of the site boundary walls to the existing footpath, with railings above, together with revised boundary treatment; installation of swift folding gate; pedestrian access and emergency access; and 7. All other associated and ancillary site works necessary to facilitate the proposed development.
