Alert triggers

What counts as a match.

FilterHow PlanningBrief uses it
CountyMatches the county on the public planning, commencement, tender or appeal record.
Project typeUses the same classification shown on lead pages, such as one-off house, large residential, energy or commercial fit-out.
AudienceUses the reader tags already shown across PlanningBrief: trades, suppliers, professional services or investment.
No new matchNo email is sent. The first run records a baseline so old matches do not create a flood.

How it works

PlanningBrief stores your email address, alert cadence and chosen query filters. It stores the saved search, not a copy of every matching record.

Alert emails use double opt-in and include an alert-specific unsubscribe link. No email is sent when a saved search has no new matching records.
