Project Description: Area of works 148.2 sqm - The works will consist of • Conversion & Fit Out of the existing vacant retail store adjoining the Existing Citizens Info Services Office. • Breaking through from the Existing Office into the Vacant Retail Store. Opening up of the existing dividing wall to link both spaces. • Demolition of internal partitions associated with an Admin office, Interview room and Staff Canteen and opening up of masonry walls within the existing Office Layout. • Construction of 2no. Interview Room Offices within the Existing Office Layout. • Replacement of all exterior Windows and Doors. • Removal of all exterior signage. • Plastering of newly constructed internal walls. • General painting and decorating on interior and exterior. • Managing Safety on and through the site. • Ensuring works do not adversely affect the operation of the existing building • Construction works as part of the conversion of the Existing Retail Store to Offices consists of o Construction of new Meeting Room and associated Mechanical and Electrical Services. o Construction of a new 4no. Workstation Admin Office and associated Mechanical and Electrical Services. o Construction of a new Staff Canteen o Opening up of existing floor slabs to accommodate new Drainage & Service connection associated with new Staff Canteen. o Construction of 2no. New Interview room offices o Construction of a new storeroom. o Construction of a new Corridor as part of additional Fire Exit requirements. o Stripping out / Relocating of Existing Electrical & Mechanical Services. o Removal of Existing Ceilings and floor coverings and the Installation of new Ceilings and Floor Finishes.
