Works description

Demolition of the existing facilities on the site at no.s 25-26 Ushers Island, Island House and nos. 20-22, Island Street; and the construction of an expanded 100 bed Medical Residential Treatment and Recovery Centre comprising of a new five/six storey building over partial basement with a maximum overall height of c. 25.6m OD (including plan/lift overrun) and a total gross floor area of c. 5,304sqm. The development refers to 3no. statutory permissions: Ref: 3084/17 ABP which provides for a 70 bed facility at 25-26 Ushers Island, Ref: 4610/18 which includes for a 30 bed extension to the 70 bed facility at 20-22 Island Street which is linked with the 70 bed facility at levels 2-5; and Ref: 4642/18 which includes for an extension of the basement area of the 70 bed facility.
