The project involves the internal conversion of a standalone commercial property (approx. 27ft x 23ft) into a residential unit. The building contains three existing compartments: The front seating area will be converted into a bedroom. The existing toilet and store will be reconfigured into a bathroom. The open kitchen and floor space will be developed into a new kitchen and open-plan lounge/living area. The works include: Replacement of all existing windows with new triple-glazed units. Installation of a double patio door at the rear. Upgrade of electrical system to current standards (smart meter already installed). Installation of a new water/boiler system and associated plumbing. Full internal wall insulation and attic insulation to meet current building regulations. No structural alterations or extensions are proposed. A copy of the original floor plan is provided to illustrate the existing layout. Fire safety and disability access compliance have been addressed in correspondence with Donegal County Council.
