The refurbishment works to the public house are to allow the premises to operate as normal, with new snug area and new toilet facilities. The works will include for new / upgraded fire safety measures as required under a new fire safety certificate. The works involve the following tasks: 1. Demolition of internal 2No internal openings between single and two-storey buildings. 2. Demolition of existing staircase and replacement with new (Part K compliant) staircase with flight reversed. 3. Demolition of various floors and yards, 4. Demolition of furniture in exiting kitchen. 5. Demolition of hot press. 6. Demolition of internal walls in single storey building. 7. Demolition works involved with new drainage for new toilets. 8. Demolition of external wall in existing toilets. 9. Construction of new partitions in single storey building to create protected escape route. 10. Provision of new fire rated doors throughout ground floor. 11. Provision of new toilets. 12. Provision of new fire detection & alarm system. 13. Provision of new emergency lighting system. 14. Upgrade of existing electrical distribution installation. 15. Provision of new electrical heating & hot water. 16. Works associated with fire rating existing timber panelling. 17. Works to ensure entrance doors are working properly. 18. Works to upgrade first floor to 60 minutes FR.
