Construction of a two-storey rear extension to an existing semi- detached two-storey dwelling house comprising: (i) at ground floor level — demolition of existing single- storey rear return and erection of new two-storey rear extension with cavity blockwork external walls, concrete ground bearing slab with insulation, flat/pitched roof construction with insulation to achieve required U-values; (ii) at first floor level — new bedroom accommodation above ground floor extension with cavity blockwork walls and insulated roof; (iii) internal alterations throughout the existing dwelling including removal of non-load-bearing partition walls, formation of new door openings, upgrade of sanitary facilities, and all associated site, drainage, electrical, and finishing works.
