Proposed works to Markree Castle consist of: Lower Ground Floor - change of use of existing store/service rooms to 3 no. bedroom suites and laundry room and widening of opening from stairs to reception space. Upper Ground Floor - change of use of existing kitchen to part of dining rooms and chair store, change of use from bedroom suites 1-3 to new kitchen and washroom area, new openings from the sitting rooms to the bar and dining room and alterations to the existing gents toilets. Upper Floors - creation of 2 no. bedroom suites from existing suite 32 with new openings from suites to roof areas, repair and restoration of existing bedroom and bathroom suites, replacement of some existing modern external windows and doors with more appropriate design and all associated site works at Markree Castle, Markree Demense, Collooney, Co. Sligo.
