Works description
The construction of an extension to the south elevation of the existing Abbey. The extension is to be constructed within the bounds of a ruined section of the Abbey structure and will maintain sections of the existing ruin walls. The extension will house an exhibition space over 3 levels with a connection to the existing Abbey Dorter space at the upper (2nd floor) level. A section of external walkway (Cloister) along the west elevation of the existing building will be enclosed as part of the works, however this walkway does not connect directly to the extension.
