Works description

Extension to the existing secondary school building by a total combined area of 3125.6sq.m. Proposed works consist of (i) Construction of standalone single storey Extension to the south including General Classrooms and Specialist Rooms, Circulation Areas, Plant rooms, Dining Hall & associated kitchen/storage with (ii) Sportshall, Fitness centre with associated changing and storage areas. (iii) Demolition of an existing prefabricated classroom to the west (iv) Construction of a Metal work/Engineering classroom in lieu (v) relocation of a stone pier and arch & modifications to existing low level wall that forms part of a protected structure (RPS No. 441 Clarisford Palace) (vi) the re-location/installation of ballcourts, hard play & pitch (vii) Modification to the entrance area including new access, car and bus set-down, new parking with internal road access, new boundary fencing and gates (vii) ancillary & site services.
