Works description

Refurbishment and Extension of 7 de Vesci Terrace and associated Mews House, with associated ancillary works. The development will consist of the demolition of the existing three storey flat roof extension to the rear of the main house and construction of a new three storey pitched roof extension in the same location; Retention of original sash window boxes and replacement of sash windows with slim double glazed timber sash windows to replicate original detail & mouldings; Minor alterations to basement plan to create Den, Playroom, Utility Room; Creation of opening between kitchen & dining room; Upgrading of mechanical and electrical installation; Extension of sunken courtyard to rear and remodeling of access up to courtyard from main house; Mews House - Replacement of Pvc rainwater goods with cast iron; replacement of modern casement windows with double glazed timber sash windows; re-instatement of casement window in lieu of door to rear elevation. Upgrading of mechanical and electrical installation. No.7 De Vesci Terrace and its associated Mews House is a protected structure.
