Works description
The works at the Blackglen Sports and Science Centre relate to the re-fitting of the existing Public Assembly use building as a Sports, Science and Fitness use building. The works involve the re-configuration of the building as indicated on the attached drawings. The building use remains as Purpose Group 5 Assembly and Recreation incorporating Fitness Areas, Kids Play Areas, Climbing Area, Sports Simulators, Sports Virtual Reality and Science Gallery. An ancillary Science Theatre is proposed. Ancillary Restaurant / Coffee shops and Retail sales areas are also proposed for the centre.
