This application relates to the proposed construction of a two storey office building at an existing fuel farm in Dublin Airport. The proposed building will be a two storey structure divided into two separate occupancies and will have ground and first floor areas of approximately 363sqm, combining to give a total floor area of 726sqm. The building will be occupied by the two operators of the fuel farm. The two operators have set out specific requirements for the amount of personal that are to be accommodated in the building and the building has been designed according to these specifications. The relevant offices are situated at first floor level where there is also shared sanitary conveniences. The first floor is accessed by way of a protected stairwell rising from the main entrance. At ground floor level there is ancillary accommodation comprised of locker rooms, changing and showering facilities, staff rooms, and drying rooms. The building will be a structural steel structure with concrete floors supported off the steel structure, and insulated external wall panels.
