Works description

Material alterations and fit-out of an existing warehouse unit at Unit 3a Ash Drive, Momentum Logistics Park, Ladytown, Naas, Co. Kildare, to form calibration laboratories and offices for Trescal. The building retains its existing industrial use and no material change of use is involved. The works comprise the construction of new internal partitions, doors and ceilings to form calibration laboratories, offices, meeting rooms, canteen, sanitary and ancillary goods-in and storage areas, together with associated mechanical and electrical services, fire safety upgrade works and internal finishes. The works are substantially internal to the existing building, with limited alterations to the existing external envelope comprising two new escape door openings, renewed doors within existing openings and new fixed glazing units on the north west and north east elevations. The existing external envelope is otherwise retained, together with the existing two-storey front office zone at first floor level and the existing compartment wall arrangement. No extension is proposed.
