Public-safe works description

The development will consist of the partial demolition, alteration, extension and change of use of the former Kilroy’s store to a new Community Arts Centre. The works will include alterations to the layout and elevations of the existing building with a new roof to the first floor level to the rear of the building. The new extension will be over 4 levels to form a new theatre space and ancillary accommodation and bar area. The development will include alterations to Meath Lane with the intention of reopening it in whole or in part and provision of service access from Tara Street and all associated site works, drainage, paving and landscaping. The proposed development is adjacent to existing protected structures on High Street.
