It is proposed to construct a residential development at Ardee Street 18 Newmarket, Dublin 8. This Fire Safety Certificate Application will be in relation to the apartment block development, consisting of 9 storeys and above 20m height. The building will consist of open-plan residential apartments with first to sixth floors served by three escape stairs (one protected stairs with fire resisting enclosures and two firefighting shafts). The seventh floor is served by the two firefighting stairs, and the eighth floor and the roof level are served by one firefighting stair. All stairs discharge at ground floor level. The Ground floor consists of ancillary spaces, bike storage, refuse storage, plants, and meeting rooms. The commercial/retail unit is designed as a shell and core-stage and will be subject to a future Fire Safety Certificate Application on tenant fit-out.
