Works consist of internal modifications only to 961.25sqm of existing office space, including the following: the removal of existing office and meeting partitions and the construction of new plasterboard and glazed partitioning to a new meeting room configuration; the removal of existing open plan office furniture and its replacement with new open plan workstations and casual seating; the re-modelling of the existing WC are and of the existing Tea-Station area; together with new floor finishes, new internal wall finishes throughout, and minor alterations to part of the existing ceiling tiles and grid; together with associated modifications to the internal mechanical, electrical and data systems. The proposed works are considered Material alterations to the building as no new floor area is being created as result of the alterations. In accordance Section 11(1) b and c of Part III to the Building Control Amendment Regulations 2014 a Fire Safety Certificate is not required for works in connection with the material alteration of a shop, office or industrial building where: • No additional floor area is being provided within the existing building, or the building is being subdivided into a number of units for separate occupancy
