Construction of a single storey community nursing unit (CNU) consisting of 2258sqm gross internal floor area with associated external signage. the CNU will comprise of 3nr residential households consisting of 10nr bedrooms per household. Each bedroom is provided with accessible en-suite facilities. Households will also have assisted bathrooms, quiet rooms and support accommodation. In addition, the CNU will also provide a communal entrance area with reception and shared facilities, large living/dining/kitchen areas located within each household, a multi-purpose room and a dedicated staff hub with rest/meeting room, changing facilities and associated toilets. A covered ambulatory/walkway will indicate the main entrance through landscaped courtyards. The site development works include revisions to the existing vehicular and pedestrian arrangements to provide 8nr accessible parking spaces, 64nr standard car parking spaces and an accessible drop off zone. A separate internal road will provide services/delivery access to the new CNU. The proposed development will also provide hard and soft landscaping (including courtyards, external siteworks and site attenuation) and associated site development/services works.
