The development will consists of the construction of a new doorway in the nave of the church adjacent to the Sacristy, refitting the existing front door in a new opening in the east wall of the north porch, replacement of the existing doorway in the north porch with a new window similar in style to the corresponding window in the south porch, on removal of the confessional in the southwest corner of the church to modify the curved portion of the stairs (6 bottom steps) to provide a straight run of steps along the wall of the west gable, provision of a door at the existing intermediate landing on the stairs and provision of a partition comprising a timber frame with glass panels and a double door at the rear of the church.
