Please note this project will involve no structural work & no material change of use. The works will include 1) The conversion of an existing fixed display window into a new timber bi-folding painted hatch within the current window opening dimensions. This is to facilitate food and beverage transactions from the exterior, moving these transactions from inside the store to outside, thereby improving customer convenience. The hatch will be accessible from the external façade and will be a proportionate addition to the shopfront in terms of size. The existing footpath in front of the unit is wide and therefore the use of the hatch will not have a significant impact on the use of the footpath. 2) Signage: Reconditioning of the existing high-level light box sign. 3) Awning: Replacing the single awning with 2 No. new awnings which will run the full width of the 2 storey and single store building. The shop will continue to operate as a retail store as it always has been. Please also note the following important points: (A) There is no requirement for a Fire Safety Certificate (B) No Increase in floor space (C) No Sub-Division of tenancy (D) No residential development within the building
