The works are for the temporary occupation of the west wing area of the old CDVEC comprehensive school, Ballymun rd, Ballymun. The occupied parts of the existing building are currently in use as an Adult Education Centre and Youth Reach Facility, under the management of CDVEC. The vacant west wing area of the old comprehensive school, to which this commencement notice relates, will be temporarily occupied by the Gaelscoil Bhaile Munna (GBM) primary school for a period of approximately 12 months whilst a new permanent school building is being constructed at Coultry Road, which is subject to a separate Commencement Notice. The west wing area of the building is c. 600m2 and will serve approximately 180 primary school pupils and 12 staff members.
