Extension & Material Alterations to the Commercial Blocks (A, B & C) at the proposed Kevin Street Redevelopment, at the former DIT Kevin Street Campus, Dublin 2. (Works on site are currently commenced under SN0007009DC and the works covered by this 7DN relate to changes made under planning reference 3565/22 and consist of: • Amendment and extension of Block C at ground to second floor levels to extend Block C into the adjoining site at 23 Liberty Lane, provision of an additional roof terrace at third floor level on Block C, along with associated alterations to the facades and elevation materials; • Amendment and extension of Block B at eighth and ninth floor levels resulting in additional office floor space and extension of a core to provide a fire escape to serve both levels; • Material Alteration to the design of the building consisting of: Basement Level 02: • Alterations to Core A1 which include reorientation of the stair core and reduction in the number of lifts from four to three. • Alterations to Core A2, which has undergone a complete redesign. There shall be a standalone lift core which provides access to six number lifts, one of which shall be the firefighting lift, which will act as dual entry. The fire fighting shaft will be accessed direct from the car park, from where the fire fighting lift and stair core can be accessed. An additional lobby has been provided in order to maintain double lobby protection to the lifts. • Alterations to Core A3 which include reorientation of the stair core and reduction in the number of lifts from two to one. • The Block A domestic water plantroom has been removed from this level. • The LV Switch room and Block A Tenants & Landlord Transformer Room has been relocated from the bottom right of the car park to the top right of the car park.
