Housing commencement notices — Ballinrobe

The site for the proposed development is located on the outskirts of the town of Ballinrobe on the main R331 road and forms a second phase of development of an existing social housing development (Sli na Roba) which was constructed circa 2007. The site is a 'greenfield' site and is sloped - rising from the existing Phase 1 development to the rear boundary and is bounded to the west by Ballinrobe Mart. The proposed works will involve the construction of 16no new dwelling units. Accommodation to be provided will include: - 4No. Blocks of Single Storey Semi Detached Units – (8 No. 2 Bed Units) - 1No. Two Storey Terrace – (2 x 3 Bed & 1 x 4 Bed Units) - 1No. Single Storey Detached 4 Bed Unit. - 2No. Blocks of Two Storey Semi Detached Units – (2 x 3 Bed & 2 x 4 Bed Units) - all constructed as detached or semi-detached blocks. Houses will have identified open frontages and secure rear garden areas, external stores, screen / boundary walls and new utility connections - all in keeping with the original development. Externally new public pathway, parking spaces and new road access is to be provided together with all new public utility connections to each unit. In light of the nature of the site some retaining works will also be required.
