Refurbishment and fit-out works to the existing Home Economics classroom accommodation at Ard Scoil na nDéise, Convent Road, Dungarvan, Co. Waterford. The works comprise strip-out of existing fixtures, fittings, finishes and redundant services, removal of asbestos containing floor and ceiling materials by a licensed specialist, minor demolition and structural alteration to form a new opening, installation of new fire-rated partitions and doorsets, fire-stopping upgrades to service penetrations; new floor, wall and ceiling finishes; and full internal redecoration. The works also include mechanical and electrical upgrades comprising new water, waste and extract services, radiant heating panels, LED lighting, power outlets, fire alarm modifications, and associated builders’ works. The area of the main works is approximately 125 m² and the school will remain operational during the works
