the Morgan Hotel — commencement notices

Extension and Material Alteration to an existing hotel at the Morgan Hotel. The development will consist of a link corridor at first to fifth floor levels between the south (front) block and northern (rear) block (125 sq.m). Construction of a sedum green roof on the roof of the link; minor alterations to the internal layout to facilitate these works, including the subdivision of an existing mezzanine suite at first and second floor southern (front) block into two bedrooms, retention of the existing glazed facade to the norther (rear) block at fourth floor level with a facade treatment to match that proposed at fifth floor level; the inclusion of an additional lift core to the northern (rear) block, alteration and provision of plant at roof level. Minor alterations to the Fleet St. facade; and all other associated site excavation, infrastructural and site development works above and below ground.

Enabling works for alteration and extension of the Morgan Hotel at No.s 7-12 Fleet Street & 1-2 Aston Place, Dublin 2. To include demolition of existing facades for new link corridors, removal of internal partitions and finishes, and stripping of 4th floor to make way for fifth floor extension.
