for the construction of a solar farm comprising the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) panels on ground-mounted frames within existing field boundaries; Inverters; MV Transformer; Internal site access tracks; Boundary treatments; 1 no. spare parts container; CCTV structures; Temporary construction compound; Landscaping including new hedgerow planting; Internal access tracks; upgrading and installation of security gates at existing entrance; All ancillary underground cabling and ducting and associated trenching; and all associated site development works and clearance works above and below ground. Construction and operational access will be via the existing entrance from the L1530. Planning Permission is sought for a 40-year operation of the solar farm. The application relates to development for the purposes of an activity requiring a license from the Environmental Protection Agency under the Industrial Emissions Directive. It also relates to a Lower Tier COMAH establishment and therefore falls under the requirements of the Control of Major Accident Hazard (COMAH) Regulations, 2015. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application
