Development Description
Permission for modifications to the existing manufacturing building and all ancillary site development works at the Cork Business and Technology Park, Model Farm Road, Cork, T12DH66. The proposed development consists of modifications to the existing building that include: (1) The construction of an extension to the building with roof access stairs, (2) Internal modifications to the layout resulting in the creation of additional floor area at 5 corners of the building at ground and mezzanine levels, (3) An extension of the mezzanine level, (4) The installation of roof lights; (5) Roof access stairs to the existing roof; (6) New loading bay; and (7) New external doors at ground floor level. The proposed site development works include the construction of: A) A pallet shed; (B) A sprinkler pump house; (C) 2 no. fire water tanks; (D) A new waste yard; (E) A chemical store; (F) Removal and replacement of two existing retaining walls; (G) Perimeter fencing; (H) A bike store. The site is within the curtilage of a protected structure, the Former Munster Institute (PS637).
