Development Description
Permission to amend a permitted development (Cork City Council Register Reference No. 25/44001) at this c. 0.02 ha site located at Nos. 12-17 Saint Patrick's Street, Cork City, T12K27C, also known as the former Debenhams/Roches Stores building. The subject site is located at ground floor level to the Maylor Street frontage of the premises. The proposed development will comprise of alterations to the permitted site layout and elevations to Maylor Street to facilitate the installation of 1 no. 22 sq m ESB Substation and 1 no. 25 sq m switchroom, with associated floorplan reconfiguration in 'Block A' all site development works above and below ground. The permitted Retail Unit No. 4 Floor area will increase to 100 sq m to facilitate the substation and associated switchroom. The overall permitted floor area of Retail Unit No. 2 will decrease from 1500 sq m to 1466 sq m to facilitate this reconfiguration. Elevation changes are proposed to the Maylor Street frontage to allow for installation of substation access doors to the street.
