Permission for development of a 38 kV/MV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Electrical Substation at this site (0.42 ha) Blarney Business Park, Clogheenmilcon, Blarney, Co. Cork. The site is generally bound to the west by the Blarney Business Park access road; to the east by the rear of Blarney Business Park extension region; to the south by the R617 and further to N20 National Road and to the north by an existing Blarney Business Park. The proposed development will comprise of a 38kV/MV gas insulated switchgear (GIS) electrical substation at Blarney Business Park, Co. Cork. The development includes: 38kV GIS Module Type 2, 1 no. Control Room module Type 7, 1 no. MV Module Type 5, 2 no. Neutral Earth Resistors, 2 no. LBFM, 2 no. House Transformers, 2 no. 38 kV/ MV transformers, 1 no. SCADA pole. 38kV underground cabling between the Whitechurch 38kV looped circuit and the proposed new 38 kV/MV substation. All associated site development works including provision of access road, lighting, boundary fences, landscaping, site services including drainage and all other associated service connections and ancillary works.
