3. Prior to the commencement of the development, the applicant shall submit for the written agreement of the planning authority: (i) The scheme’s lighting design shall demonstrate a ’bat friendly’ lighting scheme. (ii) The applicant shall demonstrate that the proposed lighting of the church and semi-detached dwellings would not impact the neighbouring residential units. (iii) The applicant shall demonstrate that the proposed lighting of the church would not impact the special architectural character of the Protected Structure. All new lighting shall be diffused and warm-toned lighting rather than bright and focused. (iv) The applicant shall provide information on mechanical fixings and a method statement for the erection of lighting to the masonry fabric. (v) Elevation drawings to show the positioning and quantity of ground-mounted or wall-mounted lighting and associated cabling. (vi) Clarification of the proposed lantern type to be erected to the side of the doors of the semidetached houses. The applicant shall note the CO’s opinion that the luminaire type EX01 (style 3) with a clear globe would be most sympathetic to the character of the houses.
