4. The Developer shall comply with the following Conservation Officer requirements: (b) Prior to the commencement of the development, the Applicant shall submit for the written approval of the planning authority: (i) Revised drawings showing the height / diameter of the proposed lettering reduced to 400mm as a maximum in order to comply with the DCC Shopfront Design Guide (ii) Visual samples of the proposed lettering together with fixing details at a scale of 1:5, showing how the signage would be fixed to the fascia without any adverse impact on the historic structure. (iii) A specification for any future proposed light fixtures if required. Illumination of signage shall be backlit or lit by passive sources and where proposed shall be in a warm colour tone. (iv) Visual samples and /or RAL numbers of the proposed colour scheme.
