9. Archaeological Monitoring (see Section 3.7 of the Framework and Principles for the Protection of the Archaeological Heritage, 1999) of groundworks/topsoil stripping/dredging works/demolition and site clearance works and/or supervision of agreed preservation in-situ measures (licensed under the NM Acts) as follows: (b) Compliance Submissions: II. The archaeologist shall consult with the planning authority and forward their Method Statement in advance of commencement to the Planning Authority for written agreement. Reason: To ensure the continued Preservation [either in situ or by record] of places, caves, sites, features or other objects of archaeological interest.
