NOTE OUTSIDE DCC JURISDICTION: The log cabin at the back garden, size (m) 5.9 x 3.3 = 19.47 sq. mt., side wall height 2200 mm. ridge heigth 2200 mm, wall log 45 mm Was built in July 2024. I use it as my art studio and also for art classes for children, from the age 4 to 11. I am teaching myself and the most children in the groups are 10. The structure of the cabin is in accordance with the planning rules however I have been told by Paul Byrne in the planning department that I need to apply for the retention due to fact that cabin is used for the business purposes. The classes run on Monday 4 to 7 pm, Tuesday 4 to 5 pm, Wednesday 5 to 6 pm, Thursday 4 to 7 pm, and every second Sunday (adults) I have a public liability insurance, fire regulation and all necessary regulations and safety measure on place You are welcome to come and check the site.
