Site at Former RTE Campus, Montrose, Donnybrook, Dublin 4

PROTECTED STRUCTURE: Cairn Homes Montrose Limited intend to apply for Permission for a Large-Scale Residential Development (LRD) at this site, which previously formed part of the overall RTÉ Campus at Montrose, Donnybrook, Dublin 4. The site is located within the Simmonscourt Townland. The site is bounded to the north, west and south by existing construction of blocks 1-4 and 6-10. To the east/ south east is the remaining RTE Campus. The RTE Campus includes buildings in the Record of Protected Structures (RPS 8888). Mount Errol, a protected structure (RPS 7846), is located north west of the site. The proposed development is for a single apartment block (Block 5), ranging in height from 8 to 13 storeys (with additional roof level plant area above). The proposed building will provide 117 residential units (in the form of 58 no. 1 beds, 57 no. 2 beds and 2 no. 3 beds) and a licensed cafe/ restaurant at ground floor level. The roof level will provide plant, solar PV panels, and telecommunications infrastructure with associated ancillary equipment and cabinets. Minor amendments are also proposed to permitted development ACP Reg. Ref.: 315488-23 (as amended by DCC Reg. Ref. WEBLRD6081/25-S3) to provide additional car and cycle parking, landscaping along with all associated works to accommodate these changes. The remainder of the permitted development will be delivered as permitted under ACP Reg. Ref.: 315488-23(DCC Ref LRD 6003/22-S3) and as subsequently amended by DCC Reg. Refs.
