Permission for development which consists of: renovation and redevelopment of an existing property known as ‘Spire House’, 59 Shantalla Road, Shantalla, Galway. The proposed development relates to a Protected Structure (RPS 9201) and includes (1) Internal renovations to include reconfiguration and improvement works to 10 no. existing apartments. (2) External minor alterations and restoration works, to include restoration of the roof, replacement of windows throughout, minor changes to fenestration to the rear and reinstatement of original fenestration at ground floor level of two-storey building facing onto Shantalla Road (3) Demolition of small, flat-roofed, concrete-built boiler house located to the rear (4) Upgrade and improvement works to existing external courtyard to the rear to include upgrade of escape stairway railing (5) allocation of bin storage and bicycle parking (6) All associated works.
