Development Description
Permission for the construction of a new administration building at their existing facility and all ancillary site development works. The proposed development includes: (i) The demolition of the existing part two storey part three storey administration building; (ii) The construction of a replacement 4 storey over partial basement administration building, including office, meeting, training, storage and service areas, toilet facilities, canteen, basement and rooftop plant (including solar PV); (iii) All ancillary site development works which include bin store, bike store, reconfigured visitor car parking, lighting, signage and flag poles, and landscaping works; (iv) The proposed development also includes provision for temporary single-storey prefabricated canteen and office buildings in the existing adjacent car parking, to be removed and parking reinstated on completion of construction phase. (v) The proposed development will be accessed from existing site entrances onto the N72 with no modification to entrances proposed. A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) has been prepared and will be submitted to the Planning Authority with the application.
