The development will consist of permission for reconfiguration of part of the existing parking area to provide additional EV parking spaces and infrastructure for cars, buses and HGVs and will involve modifications to the circulation areas for vehicles and pedestrians and the provision of an additional 68no. car parking spaces. The overall parking provision at Junction 14 Mayfield will be modified to increase car parking spaces from 270no. to 338no., reduce HGV parking spaces from 41no. to 39no. and no change to the number of bus parking spaces (11no. spaces) and services bays (2no spaces). The overall parking provision will include 29no. EV car parking spaces, 2no. EV HGV parking spaces and 2no. EV bus parking spaces. Permission is also sought for all associated modifications to hard and soft landscaping, 2no. ESB substations, 4no. AC power cabinets, an overhead canopy above the EV car parking spaces, an acoustic perimeter fence along the eastern boundary of the site, site lighting, signage and all associated site and development works. Retention permission is also sought for the existing dog park (271sq.m)
